According to the provisions of the Federal Aviation Rules of the Russian Federation “General rules of air transportation of passengers, baggage, cargo and requirements for the service of passengers, shippers and consignees” air transportation of cargo is considered to be completed after the delivery of the cargo to the consignee in accordance with the conditions specified in the agreement for air transportation of cargo.
The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation Order № 241 dated 17.06.2012 "On air navigation and airport charges, tariffs for maintenance of airplanes at airports and airspace of the Russian Federation" (p.p. 1.1 and 4.4 of Annex №1, p. 1 of Regulation №2) states that the whole complex of cargo services of the handling company at the airport must be paid by the Carrier.
In this regard, all costs related to the receipt/delivery of cargo at Sheremetyevo airport must be paid by the Carrier to the handling company and included into the tariff of air transportation.
Taking into consideration the mentioned above please be informed that starting from September 29th, 2018 the rates for air cargo transportation from/to Sheremetyevo airport (SVO) include the rate of the ground handling services for domestic/international airlines for all types and categories of the cargo products.
