ACB Innovation Forum Physical Internet & Internet of Things
On the 20th of June, Air Cargo Belgium will organise its second Innovation Forum at the Colonial Palace Tervuren. With almost 200 attendees last year, ACB will do its outmost to top last year’s edition.
The Colonial Palace opens its doors at 12h30, a walking lunch will be provided by our Platinum Sponsor dnata. Before the first speaker starts at 13h30, all attendees can discover our Living Lab where CHAMP, COMmeto, Iristick, Skypooling and Tech4fun give you the opportunity to get to know innovation in real life.
Steven Polmans, Chairman at Air Cargo Belgium, will kick off the event at 13h30 with a welcome word, followed by a short introduction by Piet Demunter, Director Strategic Development at Brussels Airport Company.
The first Keynote Speech by Peggy Devestel, CCO at Skeyes, will start at 13h50, followed by two pitchers: EvertBulcke (CCO & VP Romware at Rombit) and Johan De Geyter (CEO Iristick). During the 45 minute coffee break from 15h05 to 15h50 the attendees can again discover the Living Lab.
Right after the break the CEO of CHAMP, Arnaud Lambert, will kick off the second part of the program. This keynote speech will be followed by two pitchers: Dr. Ing. Harald Sieke, Head of Aviation Logistics at Fraunhofer Istitute and Robert Kunen, VP Distribution & Costumer Service at Air France, KLM and Martinair Cargo.
At 17h00, an interactive panel discussion about Physical Internet in the Air Freight Industry, moderated by FrankVan Gelder, will take place. The panelists are Erwin Hoefkens (NxtPort), Pierre Faché (Province of Flemish Brabant), Sara Van Gelder (Brussels Airport), Evangelo Kommatas (ACB Airline Cluster), David Bellon (ACB Forwarder Cluster) and Lucas Deschouwer (ACB Handling Cluster). The event will be closed by Geert Keirens, Director of Air Cargo Belgium, at 17h50.
And as from 18h00 the real party can start: the ACB Summer BBQ! Tickets for the Innovation Forum also include entrance to the Summer BBQ so we hope you all bring your dancing shoes!
